About Dr. Aviva Zigman
As an emergency medicine doctor my skin care regime was minimal for most of my adult life. It hit an all time low during Covid when after 12 hour shifts I used a harsh
antibacterial soap as a face wash and shampoo. I would return to my position as the Medical Director of local medical spas where I would be whisked off immediately to see the advanced aesthetician for my inflamed skin and acne breakouts from wearing masks. I had no time to approach my real issues of aging spots, wrinkles and overall sun damage. Fast forward to today where I am just as busy and have little time for multi step regimens or patience to research new fads. I am also a breast cancer survivor with estrogen positive markers which limits my ability to have hormone replacement treatment which can be vital for glowing, healthy skin. In addition, I have a rare bleeding disorder which limits my ability to get more aggressive in clinic treatments such as fillers and PDO threads. Instead, I have designed a simple straightforward approach to my skincare that overcomes my medical history. Using my medical background I have been a able to weed out the disinformation online and stick to tried and true skin products as well as proven new ingredients and procedures to save your skin and wallet.
